Hotel room was lovely, bathroom was spacious the room view wasn't good it just looked onto back building two nice big windows but no view. Room service food was good, mini bar prices were high but the vending machines in Eden hotel which is attattched had same things for much cheaper but u couldn't use fridge it was only for mini bar. Staff were friendly only complaint was we bought a hop on hop off boat and bus ticket from the concierge but the bus and boats were so busy obviously oversold the tickets as 3 separate times the came and only let a few on so you had to wait again on next one which was another 25min total waste of money we paid a lot for them and only used it to get in boat and off at next stop complained to concierge but they didn't do anything offered another ticket which was no good as we were going home that day.

The Pulitzer is wonderfully located within walking distance of all the major Amsterdam sites. We found the staff to be knowledgeable and eager to help with suggestions, reservations , and even re-scheduling of previously made reservations!! The rooms are all different since the hotel is actually made up of a series of old homes, but each is beautifully appointed with 1st class art work and lovely furnishings. Seating areas outside have comfortable settees, surrounded by flowers (fresh flowers are everywhere in the hotel!) and invite relaxing with afternoon tea. There is a comfortable bar area and a restaurant too, tho we did not eat there. I would HIGHLY recommend the Pulitzer and would happily return myself!! (Concierge Jasper Dondorp was particularly helpful during our stay)

Fantastic location! Easy to get to from Schiphol airport, just take the train to Dam Station and catch the bus or walk to the hotel. We arrived very early (7am) and our room wasn't ready, but they did get us into it an hour early. Plus they let us store our luggage so we were able to walk around the city and go for canal cruise.
We had a really nice room with a canal view. They brought up typical Dutch gifts because it was my husbands birthday. It made our trip special!
The concierge folks we friendly, and so helpful, suggesting places to go and getting us discount tickets. All the receptionist were very kind and helpful, especially when we needed our boarding passes printed.
I would go back to City and stay at this hotel.

"Lovely hotel a little far from Amsterdam central"
The hotel is very modern and has lots of facilities at no extra cost, such as breakfast, gym, sauna and steam room. However you have to get the metro into amsterdam central which could be a little inconvenient at times. There is also no smoking in the rooms which means you have to go outside and find somewhere to smoke as there is no sheltered designated smoking area. The hotel room bed is glorious to sleep on and the shower is awesome, very clean hotel and lovely for a quiet get away. I would definetly stay here again if I couldn't find anywhere closer to the city centre

The hotel was as good as the photos led us to believe. Room feels surprisingly large due to high ceiling. Word of warning to travellers given a balcony, the door swings shut leaving you stranded as there
