“The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. “I really can't rave enough about the stay we had at this beautiful mountain haven! We were here on a 3-generation family vacation - my father in law has great interest in Civil War history and this home was perfectly situated to get to many sites easily. We all loved this house! Secluded, quiet, peaceful with gorgeous natural surroundings. We were seriously obsessed with the design and decor inside. Everyone thought the beds were amazingly comfortable.
