My overall rating was just "OK" because of what is perhaps a misunderstanding on my part for the use of the word "guest house", Guest houses, to me, are separate dwelling behind a main home but perhaps to others and when filtering by "whole house", what we stayed in was unexpected. “I arrived about 9 pm. The temp was 70, with 71% humidity. I set the thermostat to 65. After 10 min, the sytem kicked off. I contacted the owner. He said to close the blinds & give the thermostat time to communicate with the A/C. Ten min had already passed. The temp had gone up & the humidity was now 76%. By 10 pm, it was clear the situation wasn't improving. I let the owner know & made other plans. The next day at 2:30, the temp was 67, BUT the humidity was 80%. I stayed 20+ min. The temp rose……

“Beautiful apartment with great amenities. Hosts were extremely kind and easy to contact. Perfect for a stay in the Fort area to explore. A hidden gem!”

“Nice little house and quiet neighborhood… But be careful on the front steps and stoop. They are slanted and have uneven ridges. Shoes can easily catch and you WILL trip and fall (we did). Also check in availability is late (5 PM). If you want earlier or at least 3 PM (which is the industry standard), you have to pay an extra 25 for every earlier hour that you need. Take this in consideration if you are in town for an evening event you will be rushing to. ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay at The 418! The house was very clean and nicely appointed. Some of our favorite features were the board games, the cute coffee bar in the large pantry, how huge the TVs were, and the eclectic local artwork. The property was centrally located to many activities and restaurants. Unfortunately, the noise from traffic was pretty loud and the green space to take our dog outside had lots of broken glass on it, but otherwise, we loved our stay. Our kids are asking if we can……
