"No one to let us in, another guest opened the lockbox. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was complete, shower was good. Breakfast was help yourself, bread, jams, yoghurts, orange juice, tea and coffee, but no milk! "On arrival we were told that they were overbooked (admitted it was their mistake), we were taken to another house which was about 5k away. Which was comfortable enough for one night. There was plenty food and wine but the food was very simple fare.On our final evening we were told food would not be available, so had to eat in a restaurant about 5k away, we think we would like to try Chambres D'hote again as we enjoyed sharing a meal with all the other guests."

"Je ne recommande pas du tout cette chambre d'hôte. Pour moi chambre d'hôte c'est en compagnie de l'habitant. Pas même un verre d'eau offert à l'arrivée. Réception de nos chambres et le propriétaire est reparti en verrouillant toutes les pièces sauf nos chambres, refusant l'accès à la cuisine, nous indiquant qu'il n'était pas un gîte ! si j'avais su j'aurai choisi un gîte ! pas même de quoi se faire une tisane, pas de frigo. 2 chambres.Et il revenait marcher à 8h du matin au dessus de nos têtes....

"Spacious apartments conveniently located just on the edge of the chaos that is Lourdes. There is a large free parking lot across the street. Arriving on a Sunday, we had to do self check in which was well organized. My only complaint is that the room desperately needed a deep clean. The floors, bed, bathroom etc were clean and I had no concerns about sleeping here, but the baseboards and walls were coated in a layer of dust and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. "
