“I stayed at Felix d’Ort in Lyon for two nights. The location is definitely one of its strong points. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk from the main train station and very close to several supermarkets. There are also a few cafés and restaurants nearby, and you can reach the Garibaldi metro station in around 8 minutes, which makes getting around the city quite easy. The room, however, was disappointing. It’s located on the ground floor of what seems to be an old building converted into a bed and……

“Formidable ! Une très grande chambre très confortable et calme dans un hôtel particulier splendide. Tout est beau et fait pour que les hôtes soient bien. Le petit déjeuner, de qualité, est servi dans une belle véranda donnant sur un jardin paisible. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, arrangeants et de bons conseils. Nous aurions volontiers discuté des heures avec eux.”

“I need to put context to my score. The building is exquisite. You see tradition seeping through the walls and the way it was restructured into mini suites works incredibly well. The location is also exceptional. The rest of services are limited but it’s a B&B so it’s totally expected. But the dust…the dust…was everywhere. In the room in the staircase and in the entrance hall. The breakfast room instead was well cleaned. For a couple of days was fine but imagining to stay for longer would have……

“Let’s start with the good: Good location, one mile and a half from downtown St. Tropez. It had a mini split for a/c and Parking available at no extra charge. Pool was okay, at least it was clean. Now the bad: The towels seamed to have been air dried outdoors, They were super rough. Grounds need lots of upkeep, everything was over grown. The beach is across the highway. To be honest, it could be quite dangerous crossing over. With small children. The beach is filthy so much trash, glass……
