Don't worry about what you're looking at from as you walk towards it - this is a great location for exploring Athens. The rooms were adequate, very clean, everything in working order. The view from the room is "Athens modern" aka renovations/ construction , but it was still nice to have it as an option. The included breakfast was very nice. The staff were very helpful and accomodating

A little confusing how to find entrance as Apple and Google maps both lead to a dead end around the corner from the hotel entrance. All hotel members of staff were polite, friendly, helpful and kind. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The balcony although only overlooking a pedestrian walkway (back of offices/shops) is a very nice addition to the room. Bathroom is clean and a good size although as no separate door the shower does make the floor very wet. Breakfast was tasty. Well located and easy to walk to well known sights. Area felt safe. We would recommend and would stay at The Arcade again.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed in room 701 and had a better view of the acropolis from our balcony than from any of the rooftop bars we saw. The windows are also broad so you get the view all the time and the room feels very big. They have nice curtains to block out the sun if you need to sleep. The breakfast food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was super nice. We enjoyed meeting Nikos. The best part - how close it is to everything. We highly recommend this place!!

I stayed here with my 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. We stayed in the Acropolis View Room which was spectacular. Very large and roomy with its own deck with loungers, and an incredible view of the Acropolis. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, helping us set up taxis and offering recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance of everything.

The room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny & water went everywhere during showering. The location is down an old ally that doesn’t feel safe at night. The breakfast was horrible. Fruit was not fresh pastry was over cooked. We had much better breakfast’s at our other hotels on the trip. Also if you are taking a ferry & arrange a driver to pick you up. Remember if the ferry system changes your boat you have to inform the hotel of the change. They apparently don’t have the capability to see the schedule changes. You’re better off arranging your own rides from the port or airport.

Pros: Large room, very clean and modern, friendly staff and good breakfast. Coffee and fruit available 24/7 in lobby. Great location within walking distance of several restaurants, sights, etc. Cons: Our room had limited windows and a nearby nightclub woke us up each night from 12am to around 2am.

O quarto estava limpo, o banheiro era de bom tamanho. O café da manhã era de boa qualidade. A Acrópole a 10 minutos de distância e muitos restaurantes e lojas nos arredores. Se retornar a Atenas, retornarei ao Arcade.
