“Our stay was a great one! The location was perfect and the lake access, with private beach and kayaks, was a huge bonus for my kids. The cabin was a good size for our family of four. We wanted to be close to Camp of the Woods, but be on our own meal schedule, so we could not have had a better location. Being right next to the Speculator Inn was another bonus. Check-in and out was easy, communication was great with the owner. We're hoping to come back again!”

“This was our second time at this cottage. We enjoyed it fully. Dan was very helpful, came over to welcome us and answer any questions we had. The cabin is stocked with just about anything one would need and we find it very comfortable.”

“House was perfect for 3 people for two nights. Screened in porch was nice for when it rained. Bedding area in loft area is more for children, ceiling is low.”

“A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

“Our stay at the cabin was everything we could have asked for and more. Welcoming, relaxing and inspiring. Waking up to birdsong and the sound of the river was wonderful. The view was beautiful. We loved hanging out on the deck and took full use of the comfy furniture under the covered part of the deck on many afternoons and evenings. The cabin had everything we needed for our temporary home away from home. Pam thought of everything and was very quick to respond if we had any questions. The only……

“Property is beautiful BUT beware the cabins are much smaller than they appear in the photos. The upstairs with the 2 beds is just a crawl space with beds. Not suitable for young kids or anyone tall lol. The steps leading up to that space is dangerous. Make sure to buy the linen package, i didnt even know it exsisted until we arrived and it was to late to purchase. Beware of the slippery floors as well, my kids took many spills on them. The bunkbeds are also in closet NOT room. ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. ”
