“The owner, Carl, is awesome! This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed and it is absolutely beautiful. Even the outdoor area is clean. Carl made us feel welcome and safe. He was attentive to our needs and left is to our privacy. We enjoyed grilled steaks on the park-style charcoal grill by the fire pit (clean firewood provided). Lights and Bluetooth speakers out side and huge TVs inside. Attention to detail was impressive. Lake Lure is great too. We will definitely return when we're back in……

“This is our second time at Ma & Pa's because we love it so much. It feels straight out of a fairytale. We go to work, reconnect, and relax which is hard to nail all at once, but this cabin helps us do just that. It is close enough to town to hop out and grab a bite, but cozy enough to stay in and cook. We do both. We love crossing the bridge to get in the cabin and the lights at night make it feel magical. We love it as a couple, but can't wait to bring our kids here one day too. There is plenty……

“This was a great place to stay - I especially enjoyed the cabin’s location & peaceful natural surroundings. it was the perfect space to just unwind & enjoy a quiet week of relaxation. The kitchen & bathroom were both well-appointed with modern amenities. I specifically took advantage of the huge smart TV in the living room area to binge-watch Landman.Master bedroom mattress was comfortable, & everything else was more than satisfactory. “Our stay was perfect! The house and amenities were exactly as described. Check in was simple and we had no issues at all. We were warm and it was quiet. We loved the hot tub! I will say this...access to the cabin is challenging, depending on the weather and the capabilities of your vehicle. We stayed during a stretch of mild weather, right before an ice storm.
