“If the back yard would have been clean and the back screen and door fit it would have been nice to have that back yard. The extra blanket was filthy If the bathroom and laundry room was finished off looks to be still under construction. Both were scary. What about that drive way? VERY DANGERIOUS Parking very dangerious. Should not be used in the winter time. Bed was comfortable but not a queen a double to small. The kitchen was cute and very nice. The cleaner didn't reach above her head……

“The place is very small. Very clean. The bed was on a platform that was very high. Once in the bed, it was very comfortable My 6 ft husband had no problem getting in, but it was very difficult for me to get in and out of the bed. The space heater was helpful. No central or baseboard heating. Got cold last night. Not fancy. But easy to get to. Nice surroundings for a one night stay.”

“If you are a germ phob do not go there if you have allergies to dogs don't go there if you want a less expensive place to stay this is your place the person I dealt with had immediate communication there is zero cell phone service in that area so download your information for the code to the door and Wi-Fi password before you get there we had to drive into town twice to get our information to get settled in and get internet.”

“The cabin was cozy. Of course we stayed during December and so there wasn’t much to do there at the location. But overall it was peaceful and wouldn’t mind staying there again. The staff were very friendly and responded to messages quickly. ”

“This clean and comfortable studio was a fortunate find. The location is beautiful and was fun to explore as I was not familiar with the town of Bayfield. Nick, the host, was very easy to work with.”

“Absolutely loved staying here. The Loft was super comfortable with plenty of room for 6+ people. The management was very friendly and attentive. We will be back! ”

“Awesome property! Fantastic for families with children. Ours loved the scavenger hunt and the books, toys, and games. And thank you for the lovely gift basket and snacks! We would definitely stay here again 3”

“House was good for the price. Easy communication with host. Only problem was dirty dishes that had to be washed before we used! Nice house if you want to be disconnected very poor phone service.”

“It was great! We’ll be back for sure.”

“Our family enjoyed this cozy cabin! It was the perfect summer escape from the desert heat. The master bed was very comfortable, and our kids had a great time feeding the fish and using the small kayak on the pond. The hosts provided a surplus of towels for us to use during our stay. The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from the General Store and close to the lake and nearby streams. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus! A few things to know before your stay: there isn’t a microwave or ice……

“The cabin was comfortable even in July with no A/C. I was worried it would be too hot (being from DFW) but there is a portable air conditioner in the master bedroom if you need to cool it down and the lower level rooms are naturally cooler than the rest of the house. My family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen has all the basic essentials, and then some. The cabin was clean and while the drive up is 1.5 miles of dirt/gravel, we had no trouble finding it using google maps. ……

“This is a great getaway place. We come down from Utah for our sister in-law’s 50th birthday surprise party. Most times we stay in bayfield with them but needed a place we could stay so we could surprise her. Thanks for a great quiet place.”

“Great location deep in the forest ”

“Quite, very well maintained property.”

“The breakfast choices were excellent and presented well. The Staff was helpful and pleasant. The property was reasonably maintained but needs more effort. The only true negative were their choice of pillows. Relatively minor complaint but they were square, hard, tall in profile and there was no ability to make them work comfortably on the bed. If there were thinner pillows available, then they would work as part of the options.”
