“Most beautiful location and nature. Host was so helpful and warm. Explained how to walk to Ella Rock from his property and gave us ideas of what to do locally. Even drew a map!! We had home cooked meals which were delicious And we went on the tea plantation tour at an old factory which he arranged and drove us too Beautiful stay and lovely host ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Myself & my partner stayed here for 2 nights. Unfortunately the photos on the website do not represent the actual rooms that you get. For some reason, the lovely tiled floors in the photos have since been replaced with a dark red, dirty carpet which instantly makes the room feel unclean. The shower head did not prop up. On arrival the toilet seat had dried up urine all over it. The red carpet had dead flies & many black hairs on it. There was often a very strange loud mystery noise that vibrated……

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”
