“Great stay”

“The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful. The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time.”

“We had a lovely last minute break at Chestnut luxury lodge with our dog. It was quiet and relaxing, spotless. Exceptional hospitality and communication from Billy and team, all the wonderful extras coffee pods & tea coffee box and cleaning essentials boxes were great. India loved her break and treats too and the warm welcome. The hot tub was amazing. The lodge was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the ice cream and waffles from the visiting catering van on the……

“Great location for proximity to Town, super parking. ”

“A really lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. Right next to the beach and perfect for our little get away. Breakfast was also really lovely and the staff were really accommodating”

“Great value, great staff and great breakfast. Was slightly disappointed as we had a couple of issues in the room, which we reported, but nobody came to sort it out.”

“Amazing place highly recommended, food and restaurant staff just great….. we have enjoyed sauna and morning Yoga was perfect to finish it off our stay.”

“A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again.”

“Tout était très bien. Le petit déjeuner à 8h30 débute par contre un peu tard, mais il était délicieux.”

“Wonderful friendly and attentive staff . Parking easy , excellent food and very comfortable bedroom . Would definitely visit again.”

“The propert is very well located and the owner very helpful when we checked in. I have sent an email to the hotel and never received a response - very disappointing. The property is old and the musty smell when entering is quite strong. The room is quite as is bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is so small that is practically unusable - even brushing the teeth is difficult. The room itself seemed clean, there is TV, iron and ironing board, some tea and coffee plus juice and cookies. The musty……

“服務親切，房間乾淨。雖然住得單人房有點小，但一個人住夠大了。房間面對海岸，風景非常漂亮，而且住得很舒服！”

“We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“We stayed in a quad room for £130 per night and were quite disappointed. The photos online made the room look modern and recently updated, but in reality it felt very dated, almost as if it hadn’t been refurbished in decades. The room was also not as clean as expected. One of the biggest issues was the lack of ventilation. The room became very hot, but opening the window-door wasn’t really an option as it allowed insects to come into the room. The roof garden outside also looked neglected and……

“worst and worst . Dirty , 黑店. 千萬不要入住. 以後再作補充. 此B&B Check out後固意把本來房間的損壞,要客戶賠償!”
