"Receptionist needs a refresher on customer service. Not warm/friendly at all. The card did not work one time and we called (she said she can't leave the desk) so we had to walk the entire way from the back. To be clear: I am not expecting her to leave her desk. Is there only 1 staff in this place? An apology would have been enough for the trouble. Instead? She said to not place the card near a phone. No sorry for that. I didn't ask for the reason or who is to blame. Is the technology being used by this hotel really that ancient? We stayed here to support a loved one in the nearby hospital. This attitude was really the last thing we need during this time."

"On arrival was immediately asked for the £2.50 to have the car parked in an empty unmaintained Carpark, then to be told it was an alcohol free bar, (Hotels which don’t serve alcohol that’s a new one), Breakfast is £6 but all you get is a continental takeaway bag, it say’s from 7am but they turn everything on at 7 so you still waiting at 7:15, Wouldn’t recommend staying here"

"I have been staying at this hotel regularly for the past couple of years and it is delightful. It is always spotless, the rooms are lovely with a very large tv. The food is also very good though drinks are very expensive ie £11 for a glass of of red wine. The cost overnight for a room though is reasonable."
