“初めて1人別府温泉に行き、こちらに泊まりました。 昔ながらの旅館と言う感じがいいです。チェックインすると、仲居さん(女将だった？)がお茶と茶菓子を持って部屋へ案内してくれます。 部屋は全て和室。年配なので和室が懐かしく、久しぶりに旅館を味わった感じがします。マッサージチェアーも有りました。 お風呂は、勿論全て源泉掛け流しで、貸切内湯が2つと、露天風呂1つがあります。どちらもちょうどいい湯加減でした。40℃くらいかな。 食事は1人でも部屋食にしていただけました。内容は大分産素材を多く使用し美味しく仕上げられています。少しずつ数多くの郷土料理、名産を食べられるので、最近は夕食付き宿を予約しています。大正解でした。 何より、おおいた和牛のサーロインステーキはすごく美味しかったです。 量も十分あり、お腹がパンパンになりました。なのにデザートの地獄蒸しプリンが濃厚で美味しくすっと入ってしまいました。 朝食もすごく量がありました。地獄蒸し卵ほか焼き魚、冷や奴、フランクなどなど。食べ切れませんでした。 また大分行くなら泊まりたい旅館です。”

“excellent in every aspect. One of the best onsen hotels we have stayed so far which we have stayed at at least 10 or more onsen hotels throughout the years in Japan. Excellent hospitality and amazing cleanliness and extremely comfortable. The photos defo don't do the hotel any justice! Although the onsen is a bit small and old and also there was no cold water.
