“Gabrielle was welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. We loved the character and history of the Chateau. The setting was peaceful and relaxing , and it was a lovely spot as a base for our day trips. ”

“If you are handicapped this is not a good property for you to stay at. If you have trouble with narrow, winding stairs you should avoid this one. The driveway needs grading badly. Air conditioning in a window unit. Only one person spoke English. Breakfast is expensive. Better to go into Fountainbleau.”

“We selected this property partly for the spa and convenience to the old walled city. When we arrived, we were informed there was a festival in town that weekend, and had to park at the train station two miles away. No way to drive in or out for the whole stay. Then, we asked to use the spa and the spa was not even open—being refurbished for the month. They should have let us know before we got all the way there. Pretty spot, not sure I’d do it again. This made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. There is also a water station on the ground floor where guests can refill their bottles at any time, which was very convenient. “I stayed there on business as I did not want to stay in Paris central, a very quaint little hotel with lovely helpful staff. Surrounding amenities are sparse but there is a nice little bar with attached shop, again friendly staff. I did eat in the hotel the first night and was given lovely homemade food with a beer. Breakfast is as expected with lovely warm bread and butter. Wi-Fi is hit/miss however on my second evening I was given a dongle for my room that worked perfectly well for my needs.”
