Hotel very central. Clean and comfortable. Spoilt by noise at night, not of the bars and people having fun but the homeless people with dogs arguing late into the night as they became more drunk and agitated. Unfortunately our bedroom was on the noisy side.

Hotel in town centre

Pros: Location
Cons: Bigger bathroom. Toilet could be included in bathroom and more space thereby available.
Location: Very central. Historic buildings and shops nearby.
Tiny bathroom with poor ventilation, access to bathtub difficult because screen not moveable. Small rooms, especially for 2 people. Nespresso machine not working properly. Travelling kettle recommended. Buffet breakfast adequate. However, good location in centre, with old town very close.

Dear madam, Thank you for your feed back, we are also very sorry if the rooms doesn't suits you, for the bathroom with seperate toilet, most of our guests prefer when it is seperate from the bathroom, then for the poor ventilation, it might be possible that the clients before you ask to block it so do not hesitate to ask the front desk reception, they are used of those demands. We are also very happy that you enjoy the location and the breakfast buffet With the great pleasure to seeing you again in Bordeaux Best regards Alice from the commercial service

A good base at the heart of old town shopping area

We had a good room on 4 th floor of hotel. Its in the big pedestrian shopping area of the old town. The long, thin, neat rooms are fine & clean with great facilities including a super coffee maker. But I really missed having a window / view. To see outside ( to plan what to wear for that day's weather) I had to crawl on all fours to recessed, floor level little window, and twist/ squint skyward to see a tiny corner if the sky. Weird setup.

Comfort and Space in a Great Location

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! Our spacious and very comfortable room and bathroom were perfect - really surprisingly spacious for a European hotel room. We appreciated having two chairs and a little sitting area, a very comfortable bed with nice linens, a quiet room, our own Nespresso!!, more storage space than we're used to in our frequent stays in France, a roomy desk (excellent wifi!), a big screen tv, a big window with room darkening drapes....all of this in a quiet room. We lacked for nothing and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect location in historic Bordeaux.

Great location for a short stay in Bordeaux

Pros: Excellent location for Bordeaux shopping, its old quarter with its churches, secret squares each with its own bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff
Cons: It's nearby bars and restaurants can be noisy if your room is at the front of the hotel. Try and get a room at the back.
Location: Huge range of modern shops within 30 metres of the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Beautiful riverside promenade within easy distance.
Fabulous relaxing short break. Great food, wine, walking, and very friendly locals. It was even warm, dry and sunny in December - guess we were lucky! Could not have asked for more. Taxi fare from airport seemed expensive at 72 euros on way in, but 58 on return (much fairer!)

Pros: Central location, friendly and efficient staff, amazing shower!!
Cons: Breakfast was overpriced at EUR 14 per head but several nearby alternative cafes.
Location: We were there for a wedding and only stayed two nights but lots of good and reasonably-priced cafes and restaurants nearby.
This hotel is in a great central position for exploring Bordeaux. The staff spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful. The room was fairly small but very clean and had a fantastic shower (best I've ever come across) an easy to use safe and a coffee machine. All in all, this is an ideal and quite reasonably priced hotel for spending a few days exploring Bordeaux. Would definitely recommend.
