“Blu hotel was a gem. We booked our trip a bit late for summer on the coast and it was nice to find such a cute place near the beach. The owners were very helpful and the rooms were very clean with great AC. The garden was a lovely break from the heat with an excellent wine selection. Only wish access to the garden was allowed past 7:30pm as it closes when the owners leave for the night. Lavagna had great beaches and restaurants for us for our short stay.”

“The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. The breakfast was of good quality, and the overall standard of the property is good. However, I found that the rooms were not well soundproofed. During the night, I could clearly hear a couple in the room above arguing, as well as the guests next door every time they used the bathroom, which made it difficult to rest. While I appreciated the quality of the service, I believe the room rate is way higher than what the property's facilities……

“Villa Riviera was absolutely beautiful. Every room and suite is unique. The team is very attentive to their guests. We had a wonderful stay. We only had one dissapointment.....For those driving please be aware. The roads up to Villa Riviera are very narrow and difficult for two vehicles on the same road. All in all, the property is a dream. This is definitely the place for peace and serenity.”

“From the moment we checked we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist, who took the time to show us our room, The room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view of the gardens and pool area, Breakfast was exceptional and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. Overall a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Although this was a 3 star hotel, in our opinion it's was 4 star +. And would not hesitate recommend the beautiful hotel.”

“Struttura molto rustica, camere con il minimo indispensabile con aria condizionata disponibile. Letto comodo, un po’ meno i cuscini. Bagno in buone condizioni, ma privo di bidet. Note negative: essendo al piano terra abbiamo accusato parecchi rumori (passi/schiamazzi) provenienti dalla camera superiore in quanto il pavimento era in legno e privo di isolamento acustico. Inoltre, abbiamo dovuto rimuovere ben tre cimici. Sicuramente in assenza di tutti questi imprevisti, sarebbe stato un soggiorno……

“Really amazing setting in historic Sestri Levante. This is a gem with a very Italian clientele and it should be respected as such. The location including both a private beach and a really nice, large swimming pool was perfect. Also a highlight was proximity (<10 min walking) to the ferry/traghetto landing to board for San Fruttuoso and Portofino. Breakfast was top notch and the parking lot made for a simple in and out for our brief one night stay. Wish we would've stayed at least two days!……
