"Elevator was horrible, looked terrible and no room floor listed on the buttons. We wished we did not try to save a few dollars at this place"

"The place needs updating. Breakfast a little below average-juice machine said apple juice, but dispensed straight water, no bowls available for cereal; but the scrambled eggs and potatoes were good. "

"Building is outdated and has an old smell to it. Walls are thin and guests in the neighboring room were very loud past 10 PM. The hotel I usually stay at while traveling for work was completely booked up, so while I wouldn’t normally choose to stay here, the room was clean and served its purpose for a one night stay. "

"Room was nice, staff was a bit stand offish. Room price was $300.00 for n extra night so I have to look elsewhere for a room as our plans changed last minute."

"Our stay at this downtown Salt Lake City hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The grand lobby immediately sets the tone, with its inviting fireplace and a piano player that created a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The amenities were equally impressive. The heated pool extending outdoors was a highlight, especially paired with the two hot tubs that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. It’s a rare treat to enjoy that kind of setup, particularly in a city setting. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and provided a perfect retreat at the end of the day. The location couldn’t have been more convenient—being close to the public train made getting around downtown incredibly easy and stress-free. Overall, this hotel strikes a great balance between comfort, atmosphere, and convenience. We’d absolutely stay here again."

"The room and property were clean. It doesn’t have good shampoo, conditioner, or body wash so bring your own as they only put one tiny bottle of each in a room for 4 people. They do serve free hot coffee from 6:30-8:30am. It’s an easy walk to the convention center next door, Delta center, Temple square, planetarium/imax theater, and pretty much anything downtown. Loved the location and will definitely return and stay here again. It was easy taking the tax from the airport to the hotel. "

"Clean room for the most part, but the floor could have been vacuumed better. Hotel is in a great loction close to restaurants, outlet mall, and grocery store. Staff was helpful, just know you can't drink your own canned alcohol drinks in the lobby or they may confiscate it."
