“We were VERY disappointed the pool wasn’t open ……because the health department had shut them down. We should have been informed before we booked this hotel. Upon checking out, I asked for a discount, because an indoor pool was important when deciding where to stay. The man at the desk said we would have to talk to the manager. I asked for the manager….the answer was “ The manager isn’t here”. Why tell me to talk to the manager if there wasn’t one. Needless to say, no discount for not……

“Sheets were stained and or dirty frade and had holes floors were dirty cloth chair was filthy property was in disrepair ceiling leaking continental breakfast was horrible coffee cold and rooms had long term rentals nothing good about this property would never stay there again, disgusting”

“Oh my if we had not unloaded the car, I would have left, blood and urine stains on sheets and blankets. Just wasn't what I read on Expedia. No restaurant or bar.”

“Chose this hotel because it was close to a nearby town. I saw the outside and thought, "It's ok, it's only two nights. I've stayed in a similar place and the room is a clean refuge from a seedy outside." Nope. I took my stuff and stayed at my brother's house. The bed sheets were draping down to the floor under the comforter and the pillows were just thrown on the middle of the bed. There weren't lampshades on the lamps--so just bare bulbs. There was a refrigerator, but it was warm inside. ……

“It is an old refurbished motel for a reasonable price. Everything worked as it was supposed to. The size of the room was adequate and well lit. Coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave were available. The bed was comfortable. Parking was a little cramped, and no breakfast was served. Do not expect luxury, but it has all I needed.”

“No contact check in, yet was greeted warmly by hostess explaining everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet place! In the area with my mother and daughter to spread my father's ashes where he loved to fish (dugger/ wampler lake area)for years. What an unexpected find. Daughter so enjoyed your(WELL!) stocked catch and release pond! Sure hope to get the opportunity to come stay again!!”
