Grand old property that has seen better days, but we stayed in the wing whose rooms were renovated, so we were totally happy. And the hotel's location is excellent, walkable to the Danube and Vaci Utca. We especially liked the convenience of the Astoria subway entrance just outside the front door. Front desk staff was friendly & efficient. We'd stay here again.

It was hot when we visited. Air conditioning was non existent in our room. Fan provided finally on day 3 of 4 days. Very loud, on Main Street. It was nice to have 2 rooms. VIP access? What did we receive for that? No idea.

Excellent location, walking distance to many sites, next to Metro and tram stop. We reserved the double room 269 sq.ft. But what we got was tiny room with dirty carpet. We changed room next day.

Room is large which is good but everytime that a train pass all the room makes noise (window, lamps, floor) Too much noise. Hard, very hard to sleep. Shower is ok but could be much better. The beds are wonderfull

Hotel is in great area close to all attractions and supermarket. Our room was ok, we had twin beds which were very small and only one small pillow each. It was ok for a few nights but wouldn’t be comfortable for any longer.

Very nice hotel with spacious room. Be aware the hotel rooms are dated but I think it’s the vibe they are going for. The area is loud so request a higher floor to stay on. Lovely staff and restaurant.

The hotel has so much character. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast options were excellent with additional all day restaurant meal options. The staff were always available to assist and were very polite. The location was suitable for our needs for sightseeing.
