“The staff members were attentive and friendly. The nature and the view from the windows are wonderful. The room amenities need some cosmetic touch-ups and minor repairs, such as the blinds or a missing light bulb on the balcony. I would rate the breakfast as 3 out of 5.”

“Our family enjoyed our stay. This house is very charming and well decorated, easy to access and a great property for our kids to play on.”

“Keep away of it. This property is not livable. I've booked non-smoking room but found smoke and mold smell everywhere and you can not get rid of it for a long time after spending even 15 minutes in the room. It's a kingdom of pests like cockroaches and some other I was not able to identify; they're everywhere on walls, table, furniture, curtains.... Water in toilet is dirty, green-yellowish and even flush does not change its color. Finally I had to leave this place in 15 minutes even it was……

“Great location, amazing service, will be back!”

“The property was clean and comfortable. The deer playing in the field across the road was a nice sight sipping morning coffee.”

“Nice, clean house. Good location and neighborhood.”

“Don’t judge by the outside! Inside, it’s cozy, clean, and packed with great amenities. Comfortable, well-designed, and welcoming, this place made our stay awesome. A hidden gem worth visiting. Highly recommend for those who value a well-maintained, inviting space.”

“Cozy, small, quiet home.”

“Fantastic location. Great breakfast. Very gracious hosts.”

“This home is comfortable, well appointed, and in a great location. Host is accommodating and communicates appropriately I highly recommend this property!”

“The natural surroundings were beautiful. We arrived earlier than expected so clean crew didnt have enough time. The grill needs to be replaced and wasn't functional”

“Very nice property that made you feel at home. Super clean and had everything you needed. The host communicated promptly and had relatives on the island who welcomed us and made sure we we got to see the museum, even though it was closed! The island is unique to explore and learn about and its people are very friendly. Highly recommend whether a history buff, nature lover, or want some R & R.”

“Excellent property, excellent host. This is a very well-appointed property located very close to the ferry dock. Golf cart, bikes, and kayaks were in great shape. Chris could not have been a more responsive or helpful host.”

“We loved our getaway weekend at this property. The home was spacious and immaculate with every possible amenity. The yard was beautifully landscaped with many spots to enjoy. The kids had fun with the kayaks on the creek. Fishing and crabbing were priorities. Looking forward to another visit.”

“We are a Family of 4 that stayed and absolutely loved Rosehill Cottage! Set back in a serene setting with the most beautiful view of the Rappahannock River! The Cottage was adorable with plenty of space to spread out, was clean, & had all of the cooking ware you need. The pool was a blast! We really enjoyed our time at the pool! I would definitely give Rosehill Cottage a consideration when you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life!”
