“The hotel is going through construction/remodel so the pool was closed. The hallway - some of the room numbers were written on doors in marker. The inside was adequate and clean. Breakfast was okay.”

“On 9/26 when I chose this hotel, I did so because it had a rating of 8 out of 10.
That was undeserved. I would have given this a 5 out of 10. It was run down, no coffee pot in the room so I couldn't make tea with my own water, cheap pillows, broken door lock chain, cheap complimentary soap.
However, the staff did what was expected, it had a mattress encased in a protective bag, a nice fridge/freezer, and TV. It was a discount hotel with free parking and quiet rooms. That is enough for most. ……
