There were so many things broken in the resort and our room. Our safe did not work, our charging outlets did not work, our telephone did not work( so we couldn't order room service or call down for anything ) One of the elevators was out of service and the escalator to the valet was broken. No beach or pool chairs were ever available. We purchased a balcony room and did not have a balcony. I would never stay here again for the price we paid. The staff is very nice but that doesn't make up for the quality of the facility.

Over all a great stay wish I was there longer so I’ll be able to try all 11 restaurants but maybe next time, also wish the beach was calming so I could have swing in the ocean but the pools were great with the bars and food spots all over great service too.

If I could give this hotel a zero star review I would. I’ll start by saying that this hotel has no air conditioner in any of the indoor lounge areas except for some of the restaurants and even then it is not always turned on. It took my family and I two hours to get checked into the hotel. The issue was that we had reservations for 5 rooms with a balcony. When we checked in only two of the five rooms had balconies. The women who checked us in was trying to upsell the room with a balcony for $75 while another gentleman stated that they simply did not have any availability and that it was first come first serve. It was very obvious that they simply did not want to provide us the rooms with balconies. After two hours of getting the run around of “my manager is on a phone call” we got all 5 rooms with a balcony at no additional cost. The day after we checked in two of the five rooms had the air conditioning stop working. We were back and fourth till 2 in the morning trying to get things resolved. I’m not joking… they switched those two rooms out a total of three times. In the end one of the two rooms that we’re switched out three times had the air conditioning go out again. At this point we decided to just leave it alone because it was a waste of our fairly short trip and used the other four rooms to accommodate for the loss of one of the five rooms. We have had amazing experiences at hotels in Cancun this was our worst experience. No AC in the rooms/lobby/bar area. Not enjoyable

If I could give this hotel a zero star review I would. I’ll start by saying that this hotel has no air conditioner in any of the indoor lounge areas except for some of the restaurants and even then it is not always turned on. It took my family and I two hours to get checked into the hotel. The issue was that we had reservations for 5 rooms with a balcony. When we checked in only two of the five rooms had balconies. The women who checked us in was trying to upsell the room with a balcony for $75 while another gentleman stated that they simply did not have any availability and that it was first come first serve. It was very obvious that they simply did not want to provide us the rooms with balconies. After two hours of getting the run around of “my manager is on a phone call” we got all 5 rooms with a balcony at no additional cost. The day after we checked in two of the five rooms had the air conditioning stop working. We were back and fourth till 2 in the morning trying to get things resolved. I’m not joking… they switched those two rooms out a total of three times. In the end one of the two rooms that we’re switched out three times had the air conditioning go out again. At this point we decided to just leave it alone because it was a waste of our fairly short trip and used the other four rooms to accommodate for the loss of one of the five rooms. There was no AC in the lobby and the restaurants sometimes had it sometimes not. Will not be returning to this hotel.

Very busy hotel, lots of families and kids. Not the best for singles or couples. But the service and rooms are amazing! Fabulous bartenders

The staff was amazing…. We tried THREE rooms , none were cold because they have their air set to 24 degrees Celsius… they are “fresh”, not cold. It ruined our stay. The food was good, the place is nice, they need more activities, especially at night, it was a bit boring…. But what killed me was the lack of real AC.

CONS: When I checked in, no one told me about different food services they offered. For example, I knew nothing of the Thai restaurant, or the ice cream shop, etc. Pool music WAY TOO LOUD everyday going for WAY TOO MANY hours. Also, the microphones were too loud, thus muffled.

Hello My family and I stayed at this resort July 9-13. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to upgrade and ended up paying extra for 2 rooms with balconies. The AC was broken in both rooms and we were not informed at check in. Every time housekeeping mopped the floor was soaked and it never dried due to the humidity in the room. We were slipping and falling on the wet floors and all slept horribly due to the heat. We asked the front for another room or a fan and were told there was nothing that could be done. Most of the staff was friendly and wonderful. And we enjoyed the pool and most of the restaurants (except steakhouse) but the broke me AC really put a damper on our vacation. It would have been nice to have been informed prior to our arrival or at least at check out. It is also frustrating that we paid for an upgrade and ended up with hot, damp rooms.

Didn't get the room we paid for. Shuffling us around to different rooms. After first day of arrival got charged for the guest as well. They should have informed when we checked in if there was a due bill. Arrogant staff members for the most part. Sub par food at the all inclusive. 1/5 Not recommended for this price. Much better outings available

This was my 6th time to stay at one of the Fiesta Americanas; 2nd at the Condessa. The luster of this franchise has been lost to management. Gone are the days of individuality and uniqueness and ushered in are universal wrist bands and “what is your room number.” Remotely, we were remembered by our names. No longer. The food remains outstanding, but the amazing part that was FA, has gone to commercialism and catering to the “all inclusive crowd.” They used to offer an all inclusive option without advertising it. No longer, its out in front on the websites. Very sad to see the downfall of such a previoiusly wonderful idea that has catered to the populous. I will not be staying again at any FA and instead will seek out what they used to have. Paying that much, they should at least have AC in the rooms and greet you with a fresh drink up the escalators that work, instead of after you walk up the escalator “stairs.” We were told many times that the “hurricane” broke the AC compressors, yet some rooms had great AC, others did not. And yet, we learned many guests were there before and after the hurricane and they said they had no AC before either, leading us to believe we were hoodwinked by them not wanting to run the AC. So much for th Honeymooners…Nothing worse than feeling lied to other than actually being lied to. Sad to see, but no longer going back.
