“We just spent three nights at Hotel La Colina in Gijon, Spain. I have to say it’s been the highlight of our European trip. The location is secluded outside of town, but you can get into town in 10 minutes. We ate breakfast in the cafeteria every morning and the food and service were wonderful. The rooms were great, the views are fantastic, along with the hiking paths and best of all the staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Highly recommended, and we will be back.”

“Great parking directly under the hotel. Restaurant across the street was delicious but took advantage of what they sold us (different review). Not pretty, but clean. Front staff on arrival was concerning, apparently if you don’t speak Vasco (Basque), the female at the desk, gets rude. Overall it was a place to stay. I would not stay in Gijon again, very industrial and loud. No rest because of a lovely train station next door.”

“Un hilo de agua caliente, ducha sin presión, wc no funcionaba bien, la cisterna y la tapa estaba acorchada de humedad. Mando tv no funcionaba. Mucho ruido desde las 07h. La sauna del spa no calentaba nada…me tocó todo…no volveré”

“Nos gustó micho la unicación del hotel, ya que estás a un paso de la catedral y del Parque San Francisco. La cama doble es muy cómoda, pues tuene 2.10 metros de ancho. El parking está a un paso y es muy cómodo y seguro.”

“It's a perfectly nice small hotel with a good restaurant & wonderful breakfast. Large comfortable, well-equipped room and bathroom. What slightly let it down for me was that it doesn't quite have all the amenities listed - or it's complicated! The website says bike hire on site but actually they do not have bikes on site - you'd have to book via a different company who deliver the bikes etc... not straight-forward. More geared towards serious cyclists with their own bike. But that wasn't……

“La habitación es cómoda , grande y limpia , también es muy cómodo dejar el coche ahí . Buen lugar para descansar y cerca del aeropuerto que era lo que necesitaba.”

“El hotel estaba completo y entiendo escasez de personal, pues habían 2 grupos que sumaban casi 100 personas . Por lo demás, se hizo lo que se pudo y el trato fue, dentro de lo que cabe estupendo”

El wifi no era muy estable pero me dejaron trabajar en una mesa al lado de recepción. Personal muy amable y en general muy buena experiencia. ”
