This was our second stay at the Inn. Off the beaten path enough that it's quiet with beautiful scenery, but only a short 20-30 min drive into town to enjoy the city. The rooms are great. Love the in room fireplace and giant bathtub. The gardens are beautiful. The Lodge is a nice place to have a drink and relax. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The pool was filthy with leaves and green. My son was to scared to attempt to swim in the nasty mess. It was being cleaned the next morning and when we went to use it it was closed. He didn’t clean it early morning so the guests could use it but rather they wait until an hour before checkout. Very disappointed. The WiFi wasn’t working from a lightning strike so the reception was bad. The BIGGEST disappointment was the Restaurant was closed!!! That was the ENTIRE REASON we booked this room. There was nothing on the website that listed any of the closures or things on the property that were closed. I even called and asked about reservations and was transferred to the restaurant to do so by Inn staff. I left a message with my reservation time. It wasn’t until check in at the Inn that I was notified the restaurant was closed. The employee said she “forgot they just started doing that again”. This was also the MOST I’ve ever paid to stay at the Inn and the most disappointing experience. I would like a refund or a free night to compensate.
