It’s a short distance to the night market. Also just in front of the hotel you can see the clock tower light show each evening. The staff at the hotel was very friendly, the room was quite nice and clean. They only odd thing is that the bathroom walls are made of fogged glass. The staff was very helpful and always friendly. The hotel is designed and decorated very nicely. Very picture worthy. Food options in restauarant are good but the one night we had dinner there it took 45 minutes to get the food and the spaghetti bolognese was not good. The tomato sauce very sour and the meat hard and flavorless. The staff said they had a staffing issue in the kitchen so I understand but still needed to mention. Also breakfast buffet was included and there had a decent variety of option but unfortunately the food was cold. Their sterno fire pots had all gone out and no one noticed. They heated up my food using microwave and all was good. The second day the same thing, no fire keeping food warm/hot. They immediately corrected the issue but not before I had yet another cold breakfast. One exception was their boiled rice. Very tasty and always hot. One day was with chicken and the other day with pork. I highly recommend giving their boiled rice a try. Room was very well appointed and large. Breakfast was one of the best so far, lots of choice and good coffee. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Just next to the clock tower, it is in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and bars. The room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed. The food at breakfast and dinner was fresh, and the happy hour drinks were great! The service and staff at the hotel cannot be faulted. All were efficient, friendly and helpful. The only negative, which is the reason I gave 4 stars for facilities, is that there is no iron and ironing board in the room. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Instead of key cards, they have round fabric-wrapped electronic devices.
