Eigentlich ist sie etwas abgelegen, aber es gibt auch kein wirkliches Zentrum in Chiang Rai. Der Blaue Tempel ist übrigens gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Anlage befindet sich in der Nähe des Flusses und ist schön in der Natur eingebettet. Das Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen inkl. grossem Badezimmer und Dusche. Leider war das Wetter nicht wirklich top, so konnten wir leider den Pool nicht nutzen. Frühstücksbuffet war etwas enttäuschend, vor allem bei der Auswahl an Früchten hätte ich von Thailand etwas mehr erwartet. For starters they don’t have an iron and ironing board! The build quality of the hotel is terrible, you can hear other guest above you in their rooms taking showers and the noise from the drainage (from the shower) is annoying especially at 11pm at night. Mosquitos are everywhere especially in the room ( this is because it’s close to the river) but they should provide the repellent plug for the room, they do however have mosquito repellent in the corridors but this doesn’t help when you are in bed! They provide electric scooters that you can rent, I would not use these again as we ran out of power and we only went to the Blue Temple (5mins away) so had to push the bike back to the hotel. Breakfast has a good selection but they hide the expensive options (cheese , bacon etc) so be sure to ask them. A private function was happening at the hotel which was noisy, loud music etc so we didn’t have a great experience and disturbed sleep. Overall not a great experience but taking into account it’s a new hotel there are many areas for improvement. Would we recommend? Yes, one night is more than enough. We would come back?
