STAY was a great spot to rest our heads between busy days. We didn’t spend much time at the hostel, so for what we needed it for it was great! Wasn’t able to find the laundry, but otherwise our stay was nice. It was super walkable, we got to enjoy much of Wicker Park shopping and food, and close to subway stops!

The first floor was pretty neat. The 2nd floor was actively under construction. There is not a patio seating, just construction materials. Place is recommended for young adults. You get what you paid for, which was fine for me. I only needed a bed and shower, don't forget to wear shower shoes.

The advertisement for the room should not have included the couch as it was in a communal area. AC broke down halfway through our stay and if it wasn't for the cool weather, it would have been miserable. Amenities were replaced at least twice a day, and luckily one just happened to show up after a chair fell apart. It was adequate in all.

Everyone was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The facility was clean, but do know they were making some repairs. Kitchen had what you needed. I could have used a fuller pillow, but that was no biggie. Close to a grocery store, pharmacy, Ulta (which was so helpful!), and some eateries. Close to the Metro, which was great! Not as close to downtown as I would have liked, but it wasn't too far either. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Overall was a good stay for the price point and location. Room was superficially cleaned and small but comfortable. It felt like the bedroom and bathroom could have used a deeper clean. Check in and check out instructions were clear, host was helpful and communicated promptly, and the location was super convenient and nice!

You get what you pay for, the price of the rooms matches the experience. The wifi barely works for streaming, but I was able to use my hot spot. There were some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the room. The A/C unit in the signature room worked great and the curtians were great for keeping the room super dark in the morning. Can also hear lots of street noise and everyone coming in and out of the hostel from the Signature room.
