“Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast.”

“Excellent all around and lovely staff”

“Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained. Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.”

“It went fine ,but not as good as photo shows......”

“It's such a nice place in such a charming area. Their thatched roof looks so very cool. Their staff is just excellent, they all take pride in doing an excellent job. I met the sous chef twice, she and her husband (the chef) make a great team. They have a lovely old bar and I took two friends there for the Sunday roast dinner. They have a good sized parking lot. You won't be at all disappointed.”

“If you want a friendly welcome good food .tidy room at a fair price this is the place to stop over, I was well impressed with the overall experience and if i am in the area i will use the Horton pub again.”

It is a family owned hotel so the service feels personal. Somewhere we would definitely like to return to. There are many……

“GOOD ”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Also had dinner which was tasty. Breakfast was a little leisurely for us which would have been fine if we had more time.”

“The staff we had contact with were exceedingly helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food quality was excellent.”

“Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. The bathroom was clean but not a deep clean level as there was dust and grime around the toilet. The towels were plentiful and clean. The bedding was clean but the divan itself had a stain as……

“Clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and good breakfast.”

“Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.”
