"The hotel lobby was ok to stay with no frills. It charges you a resort fee of $15 for each room daily. It doesn't say that but just know it will be an upcharge. They do allow you to keep your car at the hotel while you go on your cruise. They also offer shuttle to your cruise port for all the cruise lines. The hotel rooms need to be updated. They have the beach across the busy street. I probably wouldn't stay there again but I guess you're paying for the location. "

"The main attraction was supposed to be the water park. This was our only reason we booked this place.The main issue with the entire property is the lack of staff. When we arrived we were informed that the slides were only open 2 hours a day from 2pm-3pm and 4pm-5pm. I spoke with the manager who said that the slides needed to be closed for “maintenance”. We stayed 6 days and never once saw “maintenance” being performed. The lazy river is only 2.5 feet deep. There is another pool which is actually heated and goes as deep as 8 ft. That was the best pool. In a nutshell, your room will not be cleaned unless you request it then night before, and even when you request it still may not get cleaned. Rooms are only cleaned every other day. The pool towels are tiny, I am a size 6 and I was barely able to wrap around my hips. The breakfast was continental so my expectations were already low but it was even worse. The rooms are extremely damp. We often kept door open just to air out. There was air condition but it was not always hot enough to run it just very damp. This place could be better if they had sufficient staff. That is the main issue. I suspected this place would not be up to par when I could never get anyone on the phone weeks prior to my arrival. Do not stay here."
