“I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. “We had five amazing days at Piccolo Paradiso in Massa Lubrese. The staff was super helpful, and assisted us with booking boat trips, taxi, bus etc. It’s about 20 minutes drive to Sorrento, and there is busses leaving outside the hotel every hour till 5pm. We loved staying in a smaller town, and felt like we got more of a local experience. There is boats at the marina that can take you all over the Amalfi coast for different prices. “The property is less than 100ft from a beach area, which is quite nice. Though you must take a little cart down the hill after taxiing to the parking lot, this little hideaway is well worth it. Warning: it can be hard to catch taxis from the parking lot. We recommend trying to do so around noon when other people are heading to the beach or scheduling one ahead of time.
