“Welcome was lovely, room was really pretty with nice touches, pretty noisy though, you'll be lucky to get a solid nights sleep. Breakfast wasnt great either sadly. Overall though it was a lovely, pretty, welcoming hotel for a single night stay.”

“A beautiful pub with stacks of character!! Cosy and inviting. Food was excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Locals also welcoming. The area is so picturesque it was a real treat. Would definitely return and planning to try out Sunday lunch sometime in winter to take advantage of the open fireplace.
Miniscule gripe was it would be nice to have some nicer bread at breakfast rather than bog standard e.g. sourdough. But that is not a show stopper!!

“The room was nice: I realize that AC is not a common luxury but when paying $450/ night I would have assumed there was air conditioning. The rug in the lobby had severe water damage which looked very dirty. The worst situation was the bartender. I went up to order a drink for my husband. I asked for a brand of beer, and the bar tender laughed at my request, Instead, I ordered him a gin and tonic (his second choice). I don’t drink gin and when the bar tender offered me 10 choices I asked him to……
