“We took the train to Thun and then the bus to the hotel (bus stop is right outside). It’s a lovely hotel with amazing views over the lake. We were upgraded to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the lake which was just so calming to sit out on and relax (even if it was raining as the balcony was sheltered). The room was a little old fashioned, we had booked a more modern room but the upgraded room whilst larger was the old style. However, this was made up for by the views. Staff were very……

“Exactly what we were hoping for. Cozy room with alpine decor. Had a balcony with a view. Very clean and nice bathroom. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Made dinner reservations for us at another location. We were only there one night and as luck would have it, it was their Ruhetag (rest day). Breakfast buffet was wonderful - typical bread, meat, cheeses, several cereal offerings, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs. They serve you coffee. Restaurant menu and dining area looked very nice. ……

“Très bon accueil ( téléphone et arrivée). La suite était très confortable et propre. Nous avons apprécié le calme, pas de bruit. Le petit déjeuner était excellent ( beaucoup de choix). La piscine mériterait un coup de rafraîchissement. Carte avec rabais ( bains, minigolf, bus) lors du séjour. Bien situé. ”
