The hallways were nasty; and smelled very badly and the carpet was nasty. Upon entering my room, the couch was tore up it had rips in it. My friend's room had bugs crawling on his bed. I told the staff at the front desk that we did not want to stay there, they refused to refund my payment and cancel my room reservation. We left and found somewhere else to stay.

If it’s two people in a room, you only need to purchase one meal ticket. When I went to the counter for breakfast, she said I can get two meals on one ticket.

The water was cold. When taking a shower,.the water wasn't hot AT all. Who takes showers in cold water. Had to ask the front desk and he went and did something. The toilet, you had to flush a few times. When I booked my hotel in advanced. I picked to.pay in person. I received and email on Friday. They needed a payment to reserve my hotel. That's not what I picked. So why did I receive a an email. I even called and told me the same thing. I asked to speak to the manager and he wasn't in at the time. Holiday Inn use to be a top hotel. No hot water, toilet only flush after a few times, and asking for payment up front. Don't have that option if your not going to apply.

the lobby was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the swimming pool. It needs some repair on the tiles around the inside of pool. Looks like it is process. Unfortunately there are flowering trees and leaves from those trees that are filling up the pool. Upper 90's the pool would have been great to get in but it was just too messy to get in.

Check in and check out were fine. The hallway carpets were badly stained. The elevator is extremely slow. On first glance I thought our room was ok, especially based on the inexpensive price. But once we woke in the morning and opened the blinds, we discovered cockroaches. It was so revolting. I quickly got ready and got out as fast as possible. I informed the front desk upon checkout about our discovery.
