communication - my questions responses were immediate, excellent. apartment clean, 2nd fl, no elevator. location, safe. the bed was very comfortable, and sheets soft. the bathroom, very clean, shower good water pressure, outdated and loose bathroom fixtures. air conditioning - excellent, wifi - very reliable. McKinney is very busy street and easily heard in apartment.

Wonderful location

Overall was in a great location, close to everything! Property was a little dated as compared to the pictures posted online. Housekeeping came an hour before checkout to see if we had left yet but waited to clean until after we departed

This is an older property but the owners have done a nice job making it pleasant. Nothing spiffy, but in a great neighborhood, near a Trader Joe’s and good restaurants. The internet was sometimes slow but otherwise we were pleased with it. Good kitchen facilities.

Great location

This was a clean and well equipped unit in a great location. The nearby Trader Joe’s is about a 5 minute walk and my wife discovered that Kroger delivers to this apartment in about 2 hours from ordering. A McDonalds and convenience store are 2 blocks South and many shops and restaurants are 3-4 blocks North (The Village Baking Company near Trader Joes is excellent!). This is an excellent neighborhood for runners as well. The sidewalks are in good shape and the main roads in front of and behind this block are one way streets. We had to fly due to back to back school related trips so we used Lyft drivers primarily (reasonable rates to downtown) and occasionally, public transit. If you need to lookup the bus information it’s the bus 209 route that services this area. We would definitely consider staying here again on future trips to Dallas.

Great location, unpleasant odor in the unit

The location is great and convenient. However, we tried to get rid unpleasant smell by open the windows to ventilate during our stay (4 nights). It did not help. Slept on the floor since the sofa/futon does not as advertised.

Great stay

I spent a month and a half in Jerry's place and I really enjoyed it. The building is a bit older but it's very clean and the couch and bed were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little spot!

I stayed here for 10 days on a work trip. Part of the time my daughter joined me. The apartment was very clean, very cozy, and in a great location! Will definitely try and snag the spot again.

Met all my expectations!

We wanted a nice place to stay for a weekend getaway that was convenient to a concert we attended at The Majestic theater. We had a great time venturing out enjoying the knox/hendrrson neighborhood. Everything was within a short walk of the accommodation. We had a blast. I highly recommend this place!

Great location in uptown Dallas

Check in easy. Apt was clean and quiet with a large screen TV. We didn’t cook much but looked like it was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans. The toaster and coffee maker were convenient for breakfast. We’ll stay there again when we return to Dallas!

Excellent Location

The apartment was perfect for us in every way. We easily walked to restaurants. Trader Joe's was less than a 5 minute walk. Larger neighborhood grocery or Drug store an easy drive. Freeway easy access. The one-way streets are tricky, but that's a Dallas thing. The deal near the door won me. I didn't care for the teflon pots and pans. That was the only drawback for me. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice convenient clean apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Good restaurants in walking distance and a nice grocery shop. We slept wonderful. We would definitely go again.

Perfect place and located close to everything.

Great area to stay in...

We just had a nice stay here. The area is full of nice restaurants and shops all within walking distance. We didn't really cook but everything needed was available. The only complaint we had is there's a little too much traffic during the afternoon rush hour M to F. But this would not stop us from staying here again the next time we come to the Dallas area.

GREAT RENTAL WITH AN EVEN GREATER LOCATION

This was our first experience in the Dallas rental market with VRBO. We paid for another home rental through this site for the same period but that owner (allegedly an ex-Cowboys cheerleader) double-booked the property, admitted it was her fault, but still refuses to refund our money. With that awful experience fresh in our minds, we were delighted to find that this property was everything that Jerry had advertised it to be. In addition, he was of tremendous help before and during our stay. Highly recommend Jerry's property. When we arrived (we were here for 5 nights), we immediately noticed that the property was completely spotless! The instructions provided by Jerry were detailed and allowed for us to access the apartment with no problems. Everything inside the apartment looked new and well cared for. There was not one thing out of place. The next morning, we were able to walk around the neighborhood and observed that it was a very high-end densely populated area with small eateries as well national chains. In the evening, we were pleased that the area was active with people out for walks and others walking their dogs. Gave us a safe feeling to see that. During our stay, the complex was super clean as well as extremely quiet. Parking was in the rear of the complex, was safe, and covered under a carport. The apartment is on the second floor at the front of the complex and has a huge picture window facing the street. This allowed us to keep the blinds open during our stay while not compromising our privacy. The only way we knew that anyone else was living in this complex was that there were other cars in the parking lot. Otherwise, this property was quieter than most hotels we have stayed in. This apartment is very well situated. As I stated earlier, if you wanted to just park your car and leave it there during your stay, you probably could. Everything you need is within walking distance or short driving distance. There is a gym, a grocery store, a service station, a shopping center, etc. nearby. We were in town, however, to attend the Cowboys game vs the Bears - about a 15-minute drive (we won!), and we also visited other local points of interest. The casino in Oklahoma was just a short 1.5 hour drive as well. We will definitely stay here again and hope that this property is available when we return to the DFW area.
