"The exterior and interior of the property were lovely. On our last morning Carme provided us with a breakfast in the attic which was lovely as she had been out and got us fresh bread and pastries. The view was amazing from the breakfast table. We managed to find parking every night and was a few minutes walk away. It is situated in a lovely village which is very clean and has nice looking buildings with nice views of the countryside and mountains."

"Que Sorpresa This was a magical place to stay. We were at a conference in Barcelona and the hotels were crazy prices, we stayed here and drove in and out. Easy even in heavy traffic at roughly 45 minutes each way and a veritable oasis to stay at. Stunning landscape, the amazing Montserrat Masif in the background. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff made this a superb location. If you're doing Barcelona, this is the place to stay."

The sports hall was a huge win with the kids who loved trying badminton, petanque, table football and ping pong. The pool area is luxurious and perfect for relaxing. "Lovely quiet location with a rustic feel. Loved the enthusiasm of the family that own it and the details she gave of Carulla which had been in their family for centuries. Chance to chill by the pool which got sun for 90% of the day. It is 15 mins from any shops so make sure you stock up before as there is no restaurant anywhere nearby. kitchen stocked with everything you need and in the colder months plenty of wood for the fire. Imagine would be very cosy"
