“It was wonderful and we had a fantastic stay. The property was beautiful spotless and I would recommend a stay to anyone wanting beautiful accommodation and scenery to go with it. The staff were fantastic. ”

“Our door didn't lock for the inside so we slept with an open door all night. There is no security anyone can just drive in because it seem deserted. It took us 35 min to just find a worker to help us. There are many many flies in the cabins. There is a TV not connected to anything. There is no cell reception, or WiFi so if something goes wrong well your on your own. The place is extremely basic and you are basically paying for the view which is amazing. “We stayed here for only one night on Monday, 13 October 2025, on our way to Cape Town. It’s such a pity we couldn’t stay longer because this is a truly wonderful guesthouse. We had a lovely room with a beautiful river view. Mina at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took such good care of us and accommodated our request to change to a river-view room without any trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse has a gorgeous garden. Breakfast was excellent……
