"Some of my family went on vacation to this property with their friends, so last minute I decided to join them. Huge mistake.
Security gate didn't bother to check our names, just waved us in. Front desk was helpful but definitely not friendly. The room was clean but the power master switch only worked sometimes which left us in the dark a lot. The shower tile is old and broken, the bathroom ceiling was ragged. The main lobby was under construction and had leaks everywhere so the entire lobby was wet and slippery. The breakfast buffet is a joke. Food is bland and basic and the staff act like they really dont want to be at work. You have to make reservations for every restaurant ahead of time through the app. The steak house was completely closed so eating options were limited. The restaurants we did try had decent food, but nothing special. Half the staff were friendly, the other half would rather you just leave. The pools were clean, and all of the pool bartenders were friendly and helpful. If you want to eat late good luck. Room service is NOT included, theres an $18 charge for every order. The sports bar is the only free option but staffing is limited and food service is unnecessarily slow. The food is mediocre at best. The beach is very nice with plenty of chairs, the grounds are very well maintained.
The poor service, even poorer food selections, and the fact the property looks like it's still recovering from a storm gives the property 1 star."
