"We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. But the place was so nice we were very happy we stayed here. "

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

LOVED OUR STAY HERE!
Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing.
The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!!
Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!!

Pool and jacuzzi were maintained daily and it was the perfect way to finish off the day with a couple of beers. Alcohol and snacks are sold half a block away. Breakfast was decent, staff friendly and there is enough parking. Make sure to close the windows at night unless you want to be awaken by roosters at 5am.

The owners Roberto and Karen are absolutely wonderful. They offer amazing activities for a great price. Breakfast is included but lunch and dinner are available for a great price on site. The food is wonderful. There is a large pool that is great to swim in. The roads in the area are great for running and walking. The place is situated in a lovely area.

Absolutely recommend this property. The staff is amazing! We did a couple of the activities and love them. Definitely do the horse back riding tour! Beautiful authentic boutique hotel. I had to stay one night on my way to Galapagos and did not want to stay at one of those chain modern places. This hotel is very charming, with hammocks outside and place to walk safely on the property. Bonus airport transfer included. Onsite restaurant open till 10PM with great food.
