“This was my second stay at the Royal West Indies. It is a hidden gem. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the larger hotel (but they will accommodate any excursion you may want) and is ideal for someone looking for some peace, quiet, and beach time. It has a very modest and excellent restaurant and outdoor bar so you never really have to leave the resort. The grounds are meticulous, the beach area is well maintained and the employees are super helpful, kind, and genuinely happy……

“The resort was absolutely phenomenal. It gave us a true island feel with four different villages with different themes including French, Italian, Caribbean, and key West. The Italian and key West were definitely newer built and more expensive rooms however the French and Caribbean were just fine still. The food was absolutely outstanding with every single place we ate at. The entertainment was phenomenal every single night there was something to do. There were a few negatives including two……

“First time visit to Turks & Caicos and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was perfect for a our family of 5 with a 2 bedroom 3 bathroom room with a perfect view of the resort and view to the bay. There was also a sofa bed in the living room. The Cabana restaurant was also excellent. Every item that we tried on that menu, including the drinks, were great. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The staff was incredible from check in to check out. Anytime I had a question or needed anything they were on it. The staff that handled our room from beginning to end made sure the room was clean every day sometimes making a second trip. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. Make sure to check out their roof top bar and see my guy Wilder. Best bartender on the island. “Close proximity to everything! Bars, restaurants, beach, excursions, grocery store, etc. It’s located behind a restaurant which serves good reasonably priced food. Through out the week the restaurant has two karaoke nights which can get quite loud but other than that perfect location for a long or short stay. We Stayed 7 nights and had no problems getting around without a vehicle. Would definitely recommend this hotel!”

“Breakfast options are great but the service is kind of scattered. Beach should be cleaned every night; at times we saw spoons, ice cream cups and cigarette butts near the cabanas which was not what we expected. Some of the employees go out of their way while others act like they are doing you a favor. Our room was lovely but it was in a building that had been recently updated. Very nice but overall not 5 star.”
