“Very clean and had everything we needed but not what we expected. Didn't realize it was a basement apartment where the family was living upstairs. Could definately hear noises and footsteps from above, but it didn't keep us from sleeping or anything. It all worked out, but wish we had known when we booked.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful garden, you can hear the birds in the morning when you walk outside. The host has a variety of pamphlets with things to do and maps of Victoria and surroundings which was very helpful to plan our day. The stay comes with lots of entertainment options from streaming, books and games. Also, it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. We would definitely book again.”

“Rosie's retreat is a great place to stay in Victoria. Located in a quiet neighborhood just 20 minutes drive to downtown Victoria. Linda is a great host. She left us a few "extras" which we really appreciated. She was also quick to respond to us and checked in to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!”

“Excellent location and cozy house! We were visiting Victoria to celebrate my sister’s graduation from UVic and it was great for working remotely, 5-15 min driving distance and bus available to downtown and UVic. It was great to have a parking spot. The place was very clean and was perfect for having dinner with family. ”

“It was fine, but not quiet. Someone in the attached home did a drum practice each day around 4pm. In the living room area, there were only bright overhead lights, no lamps for softer light. Other lightbulbs were burned out. The bed was very comfortable in the back bedroom, but the blinds let in light at night. ”

“This house had the perfect number of beds for our family group of three adults and three young adults. We needed five beds and the host was very accommodating to that request. The beds were very comfortable.We appreciated the functional kitchen that included a large tea kettle, good coffee provided, fancy tea cups & saucers, Plenty of silverware, plates and glasses for a large group. “We were staying in Victoria for a conference that my wife was attending at the University of Victoria. This property is about a 10 minute drive from U.Vic., so very convenient. We discovered that the neighbourhood was quiet and a great place to go for walks and runs through. The property come fully equipped with everything we needed. There is outdoor space for guests to use adjacent to an amazing garden. We only met up with the host when we arrived, and when we departed, but were very pleasant……
