“We had a party of three - myself, my fellow and his cousin. Two separate rooms, both were terrific. The whole place is kitschy, with both original portions and some added amenities done in the style of the Route 66 hey-day era. We were all quite pleased with our rooms, the cleanliness, the setting being up against a lovely little Pond and directly on Route 66 so not the slightest bit out of the way for us who were traveling it, but it was really the staff who made things terrific. “HORRIBLE place and HORRIBLE customer service! When we arrived, the desk clerk was talking on her cell phone. She saw us and did not end her call or acknowledge us for approximately 15 minutes. We requested a handicap accessible room; however, we were assigned a 2nd floor room and there are NO elevators. We asked for any room available on the 1st floor...because I would not be able to carry my husband up and down the stairs! They claimed not to have any available and refused a refund. We booked……
