"Strict policies on cancellation even after calling 5 min after my error was a total let down. Was booking Toyoko Inn Nara Oji-eki Minami-guchi, but by error booked Toyoko Inn Higashi Osaka. Called 5 min after noticing error and requested to cancel or adjust to the preferred one. Only to be told I have to pay ¥9,537 for cancellation. Poor listening and customer service. Nonetheless the rest was ok. "

"Pungent smoke atmosphere, missing utensils, 1 cup , 1 miso bowl but 2 people. Probably ok for a young couple just needing a couple hours rest before moving on quickly, we didn’t feel sheets were clean, towels etc so used our own and put jackets down to rest on. "

"I traveled with my best friend and her family to visit Osaka during our trip to Japan. The rental was really nice, spacious, and located close to two different subway stations. The main subway station we used was a 10 minute walk. Very quiet neighborhood and a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Osaka. It is a bit further south from the main downtown area of Osaka, but the main subway line we used was easily accessible to Namba station. It was a very nice, spacious rental and everything was really comfortable and clean. My only recommendation to the host is to develop a guide book on how to use the water heater, microwave, dishwasher, and AC/heat units. I’ve visited family in Japan before so I was able to tell my friends how to use the water heater. I’ve seen other rentals have printed, laminated instructions and that’s helpful. But other than that, we all really enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます"
