“We were here June 2025. The location is right in town next to the concert hall, Perth Theater, and museum. There were plenty of restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, and shops within easy walking distance. While there, we attended a concert and went to the museum. We also drove across the river to the Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park. Within the apartment we were happy to be able to do our laundry with a washer, dryer, and drying rack. “Compact apartment with everything needed for a short stay. Hot water is good & hot. Good Fish and Chip shop around the corner (had the Haddock with chips and curry which was delicious and a good portion size) and a sandwich bar that serves breakfast items too (bacon butties recommended). Really good bakers across the road with numerous choices. Close to Montrose town centre and beach and on the way in from Dundee and the North. Benefit of Netflix on site and free WiFi. “Hated writing this one. Were huge on not caring too much about overall condition and usually go based on price concern with a balance of convenience, quiet and cleanliness. Great place if you can actually get it cheap and just need it a night or two. TONS of stairs, don’t book if you have a bunch of luggage or are by yourself and have several pieces to carry. Looks like the water stain thing isn’t actually new like we were lead to believe and with how bad it is, and the earthy smell in the……
