“Loved staying in a Tradewinds room. Having the lounge and our own area at the beach was a plus. We will stay here again. Very walkable to the other area hotels. I do wish they had a little more entertainment at night. There is construction going on until Dec. It bothered other people, but the construction didn’t bother us. They sectioned off areas of the pool to work on the patio. But the rest of the pool area was open. We were mostly at the beach though. They also had an area of the hotel where……

“We have stayed at the Barceló 4-5 times. The staff are amazing and the food has improved tremendously since post Pandemic. I will say my husband and I are highly disappointed that the Barcelo no longer maintains the water features for the iguanas next to the buffet due to an ignorant guest that decided to hand feed an iguana, supposedly was bitten and then said they were going to sue the Barcelo. I truly believe the Barcelo should be supportive of the iguanas since they are native to Aruba and……

“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”

“A very unique experience. It met my expectations. Owner was very accommodating. Need a car, but then everything is very close. Nice pool, nice private outside areas as well as common areas. Extremely affordable. Keep in mind , I stayed in the Gypsy wagon Queenie for 2 weeks, it’s small but it has what you need. They also have an outdoor kitchen area where we occasionally cooked our own breakfast. Owner gave us a dozen eggs . I look forward to going back again ”
