Good location close to pubs, grocery store and train station.The apartment is located on the 4th floor with no elevator, difficult for those with limited mobility.Cleanliness was satisfactorily other than the shower area which had mold and a clogged drain. There were payment issues inconsistent with the Vrbo listing.

Convenient Edinburgh Accommodation

The property is in a very convenient location in Haymarket, on a quiet street but near to lots of bars, shops and restaurants and only 30 minutes walk (or a bus ride) to the Royal Mile. The property lacked some of the basic amenities we have been used to in this sort of accommodation, such as tea and coffee, basic shower stuff, hand soap in the toilet and basic cleaning supplies. The listing also did not mention that the property is at the very top of a building with no lift, so you need to climb 60 stairs to get to it. The accommodation, other than these things, was comfortable and bedding and mostly clean, if slightly tired. We would book again if going to Edinburgh in August, when hotels are less easy to come by and enjoyed our stay.
