"We absolutely loved our stay at Cow Byre 1 — it surpassed our expectations. The accommodation felt homely with lots of thoughtful touches, and you can really see the care that’s gone into both the property and the grounds. Our son especially loved the games room and used it every day. It was quiet, in a great location, and we still felt a real sense of space and privacy even though it seemed fully booked. "I don’t normally like leaving reviews. Clean spacious rooms, friendly and helpful host. The lounge had 2 leather sofas and my bedroom had a wooden floor with sheepskins on the floor, (the other 3 bedrooms had carpet) I would have preferred to have the comfort of fabric sofas and a carpeted bedroom, but I know that most people probably wouldn’t be bothered about that.
