“The property was recently upgraded. Incredible staff. The restaurant on the premises is aiming to become Michelin-starred. Breakfast experience is a must. Incredible view from the hotel overlooking the Douro River. 16 rooms total. The only issue that I have personally experienced is the air conditioner. Hopefully, the hotel at some point will address this issue. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.”

“The room was beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. The location was perfect for us, quiet enough that we could rest at night but close enough to all the sights we wanted to see. The staff were very responsive and we also appreciated the water and snacks provided. Overall an excellent place to stay, I would recommend highly.”

“Veronica is very nice and helpful during our stay there. The location is very convenient to the restaurants we like and all sight seeing spots are all in walking distance. The only drawback is no elevator inside the building so if you are not travelling with a strong guy and with heavy suitcase, you will have to reconsider the larger suite here as mine is the smallest which is on the top floor. 😞”
