“All the reviews you've already read are true. The people that run GHD truly make this place special. The rooms are small, but well thought out. We had Room 402 and the view was stunning. The breakfast was like a work of art. One morning we werent feeling well and they brought it to our room. They brought us coffees to our room every morning before breakfast and even bottles of water. They helped us with directions, Ubers, dinner suggestions, and were very friendly and kind. We are on our 3rd……

“Absolutely surpassed my expectations. I stayed in a suite and the room was nicer than most hotels for an incredible price. Outstanding view. Staff was friendly and remembered me every morning (tho I was only there 2 nites)! Breakfast was good and online ordering was easy. The record player and records were a great added touch. I did a tour of the cellars there as well and the hostel provided discount tickets. Such a great visit. I’d absolutely come back!”

“Due to metro construction, access to the hotel either via taxi or bolt/uber was a little hazzle. Other than that, the location of the hotel was really convenient for those who wants to walk to downtown shopping and excellent restaurants areas. Hotel staff was really friendly and as helpful as possible. English speakers will have no issue to communicate with them. Room decor was beautiful but our room was in the corner, so accessing to the bathroom from one side of the bed may seem really……

“Wow what a hotel outside the city stunning views of the river amazing pool and hotel employees all so helpful friendly couldn’t do enough. Went slightly out of season so not all facilities such as roof top bar available but didn’t soil the use of the hotel will definitely return and you can walk into Porto so good exercise cab only €8 away from the hustle and bustle of the city allowing you to chill out as well.”

“Location is fantastic. Right in the heart of Ribeira. Everything is walkable. With that said, wife had trouble sleeping because of how loud it was outside. Other than that, clean, safe, and convenient. We’re the type that spends no time in the room outside of showers and sleeping. This served that purpose— for me, anyway. ”
