“Simple hotel, not fancy, even though it is in need of repair it was perfect for my family of 11. We reserved 4 rooms. Very clean, nice and comfortable beds. Very affordable, the beach was perfect, and the ferry was very reliable.”

“This Hotel Boutique is what you are looking for in any stay. Family friendly, couples reatreat, fun getaway, you name it. The room was big in a comfortable way. The owners are very communicative and have cute smalls details that make the stay very pleasant. I will definitely stay here again.”

“5 star hotel with 3 star price. If you have any doubt just book it!! The view is breathtaking the staff very attentive. The dining staff superior. The design of the hotel should be on every sea side. I had the best birthday celebrating at the waves. Only regret not booking my entire stay here. Charlette such a premier manager and really a very active manager. Her communication is impeccable. Thank you Waves for the best birthday jubilee. ”

“It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. I had to pay an additional $60 a night plus tax for a rollaway. Second, you really can’t go out into the water here. The beach goes straight to a dead……

“We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. “ The beach at the resort was an absolute dream for a honeymoon! We toured around the entire island during our honeymoon and kept saying that Sand Castles was the best choice! The drinks onsite were fantastic as well as the restaurant. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. We appreciated the snorkeling gear and the ability to take the kayaks out at no additional charge. The resort was so clean and everyone was so nice! We will absolutely be back again soon!”
