A 6:15 a.m. departure from Post Mills Airport, VT in your hot air balloon gets this spectacular view of Vermont to the left of the river, and New Hampshire to the right. This perspective is looking essentially northwards. Farm lands and forest nestled along what was in colonial times a mighty river of commerce and transportation. When Vermont separated from NH, and to protect those assets, NH insisted the border between NH and VT would be the high water mark on the westerly side of the river.

"House is beautiful. Grounds are beautiful. The flower gardens are absolutely breathtaking. The weather during our stay was in the middle 90’s so not having ac was a little hard. The only TV was in the family room that was located in the basement( lower level ) so was not really convenient having 2 children. Otherwise than being unseasonably hot. We had a tremendous vacation. "Very rustic which is fine and I'm usually up for. The water is atrocious and needs to be tested. My daughter and I were sick for two days after drinking the water. I have a terrible sense of smell, but noticed it when showering after the first night. Horrible. We left but could not get all the way home (6 hours drive) because of our gastrointestinal issues. We live separately and could not connect any other shared consumptions. Owner is very nice, but does not respond to emails or texts even...

"This home has it all! Beautifully decorated, cozy fireplace, spacious private surroundings, the BEST claw foot bathtubs, mountain and star views magnificent! We had 12 people and the home’s size afforded us all plenty of privacy. Great stove in kitchen. Plenty of firewood stacked. Off grid living was cool! No TVs! Such a needed break from the seasonal chaos! Highly recommend ❤️"
